Membership Renewal Reminder

Please do not be offended (especially if you have already paid), just a very polite reminder – the £15 annual standing order subscription is due on 1st December (or as near that date as possible please – to make life more manageable for the Treasurer & Membership Secretary).  
 
This first two years have been extraordinarily successful with 341 members committing to the annual fee.  the Association is forging ahead but we mustn’t be complacent – for those still thinking about signing up the bank details are below, we still need your support.

Over the last two years annual subscription members have benefitted from a variety of discounts, grants & subsidies provided by your subscriptions & from additional sponsors, these have included:
 
  • RNPTBA visit to HMS RALEIGH for a Passing Out Parade, lunch and visit to the gym.
  • The 2024 Biennial Social and Reunion at the CFCC, arguably the best for many years, with full entertainment provided by Association members.
  • The 2025 50th Anniversary Reunion, even better than 2024, heavily subsidised & largest attendance ever!  Once again, all entertainment by Association members.
  • 2025 RNPTBA golf, small subsidy provided by new sponsor.
  • Harbour boat tour, fizz & lunch sponsored by the RNA.
  • Two RNPTA Boxing Dinner shows – heavily subsidised.
  • Two London Cenotaph Remembrance parades, wreaths purchased by the Association plus a very small grant for lunches. 
  • We continue to celebrate the life of PTs ‘Crossing the Bar’.  Our Standard has now been used at several of the 16 funerals plus the coffin drape gifted to the families & where possible a Royal Marine Bugler provided.
  • Small grant towards travel costs for members attending a funeral abroad.
  • 11 framed copies of ‘The Fighting Temeraire’ gifted to retiring PTIs.
  • Fees waived for members who have fallen on hard times.
     
  • We now have a new merchandise rep & will have a greater variety of items available in the near future, % going back to our fund, full details will be published shortly.
